Hold My Coffee ("we", "us") is a one person build studio operated by Shashank Imarati. This policy explains what information we collect through holdmycoffee.fyi, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Information we collect

• Contact form details. Your name, email address, and anything you write in the message field.
• Project information. Whatever you choose to share with us while we scope or build your project.
• Basic technical data. Standard server and analytics data such as pages viewed, referring site, approximate region, browser and device type.

Our free tools

Tools such as the invoice generator run entirely in your browser. Invoice details, client names, line items and any logo you upload are processed on your own device and are not uploaded to or stored on our servers.

How we use information

• To reply to your enquiry and discuss a possible project.
• To deliver, support and invoice work you have engaged us for.
• To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
• To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations.

We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing email to people who only submitted a contact form.

Legal basis

Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on your consent when you submit a form, on the performance of a contract when we work together, and on our legitimate interest in running and improving a small business.

Service providers

We use a small number of third parties to run the site, including hosting and database infrastructure, email delivery, and privacy-respecting analytics. These providers process data only to provide their service to us. Some may store data outside your country, protected by their own contractual safeguards.

Retention

Contact enquiries are kept for up to 24 months so we can pick up conversations that go quiet. Records relating to paid projects are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner.

Cookies

We keep cookies to a minimum. The site uses cookies that are necessary for it to function, plus aggregate analytics. You can block or clear cookies in your browser without losing access to any part of the site.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to a particular use. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with access controls on managed infrastructure. No system is perfect, but we keep the amount of information we hold deliberately small.

Children

This site is intended for business use and is not directed at anyone under 16.

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
